Do you have a House of Truth?
What exactly does that mean?
Mine is called The Greenville House of Truth. It was my childhood home that my father built in Greenville, NY. We moved there from Long Island when I was seven years old. It was a home of exploration with acres filled with trees to climb and places to let my imagination take off.
This dream house represents many things to me:
My soul space to meet loved ones.
Message delivery. What I learn here always rings true.
Physical reflection of my body.
Mirror to my soul.
Protection and security for my dream self.
When I’m in The Greenville House of Truth, I need to pay close attention. It’s the place where I first saw my dad after he passed. It’s sacred because that’s where he held my son when he joined him in the spirit world. It’s a place of family gatherings, connection, and synchronicity.
Your House of Truth can be your childhood home that has wonderful memories for you. A place that gave you a sense of safety and clarity about who you were and helped you grow into the adult you are now. It can be an imaginary House of Truth that you developed in your dreams or have in a Multiverse. It can be where your soul resides.
Caring for this house is just as important as caring for our physical house and bodies.
Since January, I’ve had numerous dreams where The Greenville House of Truth had squatters, the inside was dusty, and dirty dishes lined the sink. In another, trees that were sacred to me as a child were stripped bare like telephone poles.
I’ve had 18 dreams of this house since then. My titles were enough to give me concern:
Off Kilter
Sad Negative Energy
Worry
Losing my Creation
Shit Flying
One of the most significant dreams that got my attention was:
(I used The Lightning Dream Process to understand this dream.)

House of Truth Under Attack

Location: The Greenville House of Truth
Inside the house Nick and Stephen are young. 9 and 7. Their grandfather is going to watch them but it’s not dad or my father-in-law. He wants to take them golfing. He asks if they ski. Nick seems worried and says it’s been a while. I tell him pizza and golf are good. BUT SOMETHING DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT and Nick knows it. I still leave.
Then with my grandkids. They go into the big army truck in my driveway. Luke and I see armed men in the backyard. He goes through the back entrance of the truck and gets the kids to safety.
I go into the driver's seat. I am a teen again. It’s at night. I slowly drive around the perimeter of the house that has woods and swamps. I see the white trucks behind the house. Greenville House is like an academy. The guards are somewhere and leave it unprotected. It’s very swampy in the backyard. I see the alligators in the swamp. They’re supposed to protect the house but the trucks drive right through and into the deeper water. I can’t follow so I turn around and go back the way I came.
I see a friend. She can’t believe I took the truck. “There’s no time,” I tell her. Men are here. I look for my phone and try to call for help. I drive around the front of the house. She has a smaller vehicle and goes to get help.
I see the big white trucks leaving on the far side of the u-shaped driveway. I try backing up but it’s so dark. I feel too far from the pedals.
I get out and talk to my friend and another male teen who doesn’t want to be involved. I say I’m going back to help. I’m not giving up. They are logging the land. The white trucks pull out transporting the trees. They cut a large sacred tree in the front yard. I pretend I’m part of it so I can save my home.
Feeling: Worry. Fear. Confident or at least tenacious. Protective.
Reality: My children—Nick, Stephen, my husband-Luke. Only people I know in waking life.
Second time dreaming of alligators near my home. This dream is soulful and metaphorical since ages and place vary. I no longer live there and the kids are young and it’s then our grandchildren then I’m a teen. It’s timeless.
My equipment: phone–form of communication; truck–mode of delivery aren’t working.
Guides:
The friend who goes for help.
Alligators which represent strength, protection, rebirth, adaptability, patience, balance, and wisdom.
Truck–my mode of transportation
Moat/Water around house–form of energetic protection and boundaries
What am I curious about?:
Can my truth be so shaken that it’s invaded? My rights, my boundaries?
Is my soul tree in jeopardy?
What is this representing in my waking life?
How can I protect myself and my home(s)?
Reflection:
At the same time that The Greenville House of Truth was being invaded and deteriorating, so was my body in waking life.
I suffered from low energy, fatigue and physical ailments. Stuck energy in my gallbladder and other dis-ease. The Greenville House of Truth was warning me to not only take care of it but also of myself. That faulty equipment was my clogged gallbladder.
Action: Protect The Greenville House of Truth. My inner knowing and intuition. Know my values. Do something to protect them.
Imagine going through inspecting, scanning for wear, and adding layers of protection. Solidify moat with alligators. Fairy wards. Security lights. Lightning bugs doing Morse code. Bring in a contractor, inspector, landscaper, and house cleaner.
Bumper Sticker: Protect my Truth
These dreams pushed me to get checked. I was on the verge of having to have emergency surgery. Because I took action based on my dreams, it was a scheduled procedure.
In my latest The Greenville House of Truth dream the laundry is folded, the house is clean, clearer, and I feel safe. I still have some upkeep to do but it’s a start.
Looks like the actions I took in my waking and dream lives are having positive impacts.
If this feels like it’s too much heavy lifting, start small with a single room in your House of Truth.
Do you have a House of Truth that protects you in your dream world and guides you in waking life?
Are there guides who repair and care for your house?
